Granville Academy is part of Affinity Learning Partnership. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.

The Candidate
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Food and Textiles teacher with an infectious passion for the subject to join us at Granville Academy. This role offers an exciting opportunity for you to create innovative and exciting learning opportunities for our students. You will be part of a wider technology team and will receive excellent support and opportunities for development within the academy and across the Trust.
You must be confident in the delivery of design and technology and have the ambition and dedication to deliver the curriculum intent in line with current practice and research in effective teaching. Whilst predominately food and textiles, teaching will include technology across key stage 3.
You will be able to support the promotion of excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively. You will be passionate about your specialist subject and seek to inspire students within all areas of technology.
You must have the ambition and dedication to continue to support the continued growth of positive results and support our wider curriculum offer.
