Eton Park is a part of The de Ferrers Trust. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.

Eton Park is a purpose-built academy for students between the ages of 7 and 11 and was opened in October 1991.  We have a very generous site which includes playing fields, a hard surface playground, a trim trail, ICT theatre, gardens and a nature conservation area.

Our vision is to ensure that all the children and young people in our care have the opportunity to fulfil their potential through achieving highly, regardless of their ability or background.

The Candidate

We are looking to appoint an Teaching Assistant, who really cares about helping our children to succeed. We are looking for someone who is kind, reliable and has a passion for working in the classroom, or one to one, is enthusiastic and builds rapport well with staff and students alike.

To be successful in this role you will have knowledge of current practises on supporting children’s learning and behaviour management strategies as well as a good understanding of areas of. You will hold a NVQ for Teaching assistants or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.

An ideal position if you are considering a career in teaching. It will give you an opportunity to see different teaching and learning styles as well as experience and appreciate wider school life.
