The de Ferrers Academy

The de Ferrers Academy is a part of The de Ferrers Trust. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.

Following on from 10 years as a specialist Technology College, de Ferrers became an Academy in January 2011. It has grown into a large, split-site, co-educational institution catering for the full range of students from ages 11-18. In 2015 de Ferrers became the first school of The de Ferrers Trust (a Multi Academy Trust).

The Candidate

We are looking to appoint a highly organised, efficient and effective administrator to join our Business Team at The de Ferrers Academy and support the Academy Business Office by maintaining and organising effective financial systems and people functions within the school. This role will play a key part in supporting the business office, assisting with HR and Finance responsibilities; whilst providing additional administrative support in areas of the academy to support our delivery as required. 

You will possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to a high level of accuracy. You will have strong interpersonal skills allowing you to work well with all stakeholders. Experience of handling data systems and competence in computerised records/management information systems will be highly beneficial for this role. 

Knowledge of Schools systems such as SIMS would be advantageous but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
