The Pingle Academy is a part of The de Ferrers Trust. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.

The Pingle Academy is a co-educational, comprehensive, secondary school for students aged 11-18 years.  It is situated on a large secure site at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. We benefit from a wide range of specialist facilities, including a floodlit astro-turf area, Learning Support Base, Autism Resource Centre and a purpose built Sixth Form Centre.

Our vision is to ensure that all the children and young people in our care have the opportunity to fulfil their potential through achieving highly, regardless of their ability or background.

The Candidate

This is a permanent, full-time post, available from January 2025.

We are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher, an inspiring leader and a team player who has the ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively.

They will be determined in driving academy improvement in line with our academy priorities.

This is a key leadership position within the academy with a focus on maximising student outcomes through carefully planned curriculum, which is effectively implemented.

The successful candidate will work within the Quality of Education Team ensuring that teaching is effective across the academy and areas of development are identified through robust quality assurance processes.

They will have the leadership skills and are committed to providing the very best education for all of your students.
