Horninglow Primary is a part of The de Ferrers Trust. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.

The Candidate

We are seeking to appoint an experienced middle leader who is looking for a Senior Leadership Role, which could be in the following areas: assessment, curriculum development, teaching and learning or outdoor learning.  We are looking for a dynamic leader, who is strategic in driving school improvement. 

You will also be an enthusiastic and creative teacher who knows how to motivate and connect with children to ensure they have the best possible chance to thrive here at Horninglow Primary. We believe that through our learning, work and play we can nurture, challenge and inspire each other to achieve our full potential. This is an exciting opportunity for you to create innovative and exciting learning opportunities for our children.

You will have the ambition and dedication to work as part of our team in developing the curriculum offer in line with current practice and research in effective teaching. You will be able to provide support in the promotion of excellent standards of learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively. In addition, you will need to be highly organised, able to work off your own initiative and can coach and lead staff in their development.
